Robert is the President & CEO of Gyrodata, a position he has held since January 2017. Previously, he served in the roles of President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Gyrodata in 2014, Robert was a Vice President at Simmons & Company International, a leading middle market investment banking firm focused on the energy sector, where he focused on M&A and Capital Markets for the Oilfield Services & Equipment sector. Prior to joining Simmons in 2010, Robert was an investment banker for Robert W. Baird & Co. Robert received a B.A. in History from Trinity College (CT) and obtained an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Robert also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Gyrodata. Outside of the office, Robert spends his time with his wife and three children; and whenever possible pursues outdoor adventures, including skiing, camping, hunting, and hiking.

Jim serves as the Senior Vice President of Technology and Supply Chain at Gyrodata. He has more than 25 years of manufacturing and supply chain experience with companies including LyondellBasell, NalcoChampion, and Halliburton. He has been an executive in oil and gas services since 2013, responsible for various functions over that time including engineering, research and development, manufacturing, supply chain, HSE, capital projects, quality, facilities services, and IT. Jim received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign and his MBA from Eastern Illinois University. When not in the office, Jim enjoys spending time with his teenage children and working in the garage.

Nicole serves as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Gyrodata. She joined Gyrodata in 2016 and has more then 20 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and analysis, and corporate compliance. Nicole oversees the global accounting and finance team and plays a significant role in Gyrodata’s strategic leadership. Previously, Nicole held a variety of roles including Director of Finance and Corporate Controller. She began her career in public accounting in the assurance services practice, serving clients in the oilfield services, manufacturing, and distribution industries. Nicole earned a B.S. in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from Texas A&M University. Away from the office, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family cooking up new recipes, traveling for outdoor adventures, and going to Aggie football games.

Kristin is Vice President and Chief People Officer at Gyrodata, a role she has held since 2019. Kristin has more than 20 years in Human Resources in the oil and gas industry, including within the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. Prior to Gyrodata, Kristin worked as VP of Human Resources at Athlon Solutions (acquired by Halliburton) and has also worked for Exco Resources and David Arrington Oil & Gas. Kristin received her B.A. in Communications from the University of Texas Permian Basin and her M.S. in Human Resources Development from the University of Texas at Tyler. Outside of work, Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, along with reading and traveling as much as possible.

Robert B. Trainer III is the President & CEO of Gyrodata, a position he has held since January 2017. During his time at Gyrodata, Mr. Trainer has served in a broad capacity and has managed all facets of the business, including operations, finance, engineering, new product development, marketing, corporate development and strategy.

Jim Arrajj is the SVP of Technology and Supply Chain at Gyrodata. Jim received his BS ChemE from the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign and his MBA from Eastern Illinois University. He has more than 25 years of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Experience with companies like LyondellBasell, NalcoChampion, and Halliburton.
He has been an Executive in the Oil and Gas Service Business since 2013, responsible for various parts of the business over that time including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HSE, Capital Projects, Quality, Facilities Services, Engineering, IT, and R&D. Leading teams since 2003, Jim is a high energy servant leader with a demonstrated history of developing people to drive the type of process changes that deliver significant measurable business results. When not in the office, Jim enjoys spending time with his teenage children and working in the garage.

Nicole Tew serves as Vice President and CFO of Gyrodata Incorporated. Before she was named CFO, Ms. Tew served Gyrodata in a variety of roles of increasing importance, including Director of Finance and Corporate Controller. She began her career in public accounting in the assurance services practice, serving clients in the oilfield services, manufacturing and distribution industries for over 15 years. Outside of her duties at Gyrodata, Ms. Tew served as a board member of The Arc of Greater Houston from May 2013 to December 2019. Ms. Tew earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy degree from Texas A&M University.

Kristin Fox is the VP of Human Resources at Gyrodata Incorporated, joining the team in December 2019. Kristin has more than 20+ years working in HR within the oil and gas industry in the upstream, midstream and downstream environments. Michael Drake is currently the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Gyrodata. In this role, he works with his team to accelerate adoption and improve utilization of the company’s solid-state wellbore surveying technology, aligning with operations and product line groups to ensure customers’ needs are understood and appropriate services and solutions are developed to address their challenges.
Mr. Drake has dedicated more than 37 years to the oil and gas industry, working in various global operations, sales, and leadership roles throughout his career. Michael is a result driven leader who has produced successful business results in multiple team disciplines. He spent several years in the field, and he was one of the original partners of an independent oilfield service company in Canada.

Mr. Ledroz holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary in Canada. He joined Gyrodata in 2004 as an R&D Engineer; since then, he has held several positions in the company, including Technical Services Manager for gyro surveying, GWD, and MWD. In February 2020, he became Vice President of Technology and is currently the primary technical expert on all matters related to downhole surveying and inertial sensors.
Furthermore, he is in charge of the Survey Systems Development group. He also manages the Software Development, the Operations Technical Support, and the Product Integration teams. In addition, he fills the role of technical advisor for Sales and Marketing, and Operations. He has co-authored 18 technical papers, holds 19 patents and is the current Chair of the Wellbore Position Technical Section (WPTS) of the SPE. He also serves on the committee for SPE ATCE and IADC conferences.

James Brosnahan serves as Gyrodata’s Vice President of Research and Development. Mr. Brosnahan is responsible for managing the research and development efforts for all product lines within Gyrodata. Jim joined Gyrodata in 1981 and has held numerous engineering positions in the company including Vice President of Engineering. He has deep experience related to the company’s research, development, manufacturing, repair and maintenance efforts. Jim holds multiple Gyro System patents and led the SPEAR solid state sensor design, which was a finalist for the “Best Drilling Technology Award” by World Oil Magazine in 2021 and won the “Special Meritorious Award for Engineering Innovation” by Hart Energy in 2020, as part of Gyrodata’s Omega solid state gyro surveying system.
Among other initiatives, Jim managed Gyrodata’s MXY gyro sensor development, which was nominated for the “Best Drilling Technology Award” by World Oil Magazine in 2012. In addition, he managed the Company’s GWD90 development, which won the “Best Exploration Technology Award” by World Oil Magazine in 2013. Prior to Gyrodata, Jim held technical positions at Halliburton and Eastman Whipstock (now Baker Hughes). Mr. Brosnahan graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering (cum laude) from the University of Houston. During his tenure at the University of Houston, he was recognized as Electrical Engineer of the Year.

Kris Earl is currently the Regional Manager for North America at Gyrodata, where he provides strategic guidance in all aspects of the business for the region focusing on service quality, safety, personnel development and operational growth.
Most of his experience in the oil field services sector have been with Gyrodata, holding a variety of positions in business development, operations, and management. Kris holds a B.S. in business management from Oklahoma City University.

Fraser Cowie has recently been promoted to the role of Operations Manager for our Europe, Africa and Caspian (EAC) region. Prior to this he held the position of Sales Manager supporting the Eastern Hemisphere leading the sales teams in both EAC and the Middle East, Asia Pacific, since February 2020. Before this Fraser helped drive the sales team as Manager for the EAC region, a role he was appointed to in May 2016. Prior to this, he held Business Development and Account Management roles supporting the UK, Norway and African activity between 2007 and 2016.
Fraser embarked on his career with Gyrodata in 1996 through a role within the engineering team in Aberdeen, achieving an Electronics Engineering HNC in 1999. Following this, he saw the opportunity to continue working within the organization in taking up an Offshore role, in which, from 2000 to 2005, he quickly rose to the highest grade of Senior Field Engineer, conducting Gyro operations in over 24 countries. He then proceeded to take charge of our Operations in Cabinda, Angola as Engineer in Charge, before being seconded back into the Regional headquarters in a management role. Fraser received his Masters of Business Administration in Oil and Gas Management from Robert Gordon’s University in 2017 and is an active member of the SPE.

Khurram Abbasi is currently our Middle East and Asia Pacific Regional Manager, covering business and operational activities in the Middle East and Asia Pacific markets.
Through his 23 years with Gyrodata, he has worked in a verity of management, engineering and offshore field services positions. Including being the Middle East Area Manager, Southern and Central Gulf District Manager, and Customer and Technical Support Manager. Khurram received a Master of Science Degree in Petroleum Geology and is a valued member of Team Gyrodata.

Arturo Gushi is an executive Regional Manager for Latin America, position assumed in March 2018; prior to his current role, he held other managerial positions, including Area Manager for Latin America North and Central from February 2017 to March 2018, and before he was the Manager of Drilling Systems for Latin-American from July 2016 to February 2017. Prior to his arrival to Gyrodata, Arturo had several managerial and engineering positions in other companies around the world. He worked for Halliburton for nine years from 2007 to 2016 as an Engineering Manager – in Iraq and the UAE; Country Manager – in Rio de Janeiro Brazil; Operations and Engineering Manager – in Rio de Janeiro and Manaus Brazil; Technical Advisor – for Drilling Project Management in Villahermosa Mexico.
He also worked for Perfolat Drilling Company (BHI) as a Directional Drilling manager for 4 four years, during 2003 to 2007 in Villahermosa Mexico. At the beginning of his career, he assumed positions of MWD, LWD and Directional Engineer at BHI in Santa Cruz Bolivia during the period from January 1996 to January 2003. With 31 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, he started his career in 1990 as a Drilling Engineer. Arturo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Autonomous University Gabriel René Moreno of Santa Cruz Bolivia.

Adrián serves as Vice President of Technology at Gyrodata, a role he has held since 2020. In his current role, Adrián serves as one of the technical experts in downhole surveying and inertial sensors; and is also responsible for Gyrodata’s teams covering software systems technologies, operations technical support and product integration. Adrián joined Gyrodata in 2004 as an engineer focused on research and development. Adrián has co-authored 18 technical papers, holds 19 patents and is the current Chair of the Wellbore Position Technical Section (WPTS) of the SPE. He also serves on the committee for SPE ATCE and IADC conferences. Adrián holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary. Outside of the office, Adrián loves spending time with his family and in the kitchen, along with riding his bicycle and playing the cello.
Fraser Cowie serves as the Regional Manager of EAC (Europe, Africa and Caspian), a position he has held since March 2022. Fraser has had a broad experience since joining Gyrodata in 1994. Prior to his current role, he was the Sales Manager for the Eastern Hemisphere, leading the sales teams in both EAC and MEAP (Middle East, Asia Pacific). Previously, Fraser served in a variety of management roles in the EAC region, including Sales Manager, Business Development Representative, and Account Manager. Prior to these roles, Fraser was a field engineer, where he worked in more than 24 countries; culminating in an operations management role responsible for operations in Angola. Fraser received a degree in Electronics Engineering in 1999, and an MBA in Oil and Gas Management from Robert Gordon’s University in 2017. Fraser is an active member of the SPE. Fraser keeps busy outside the office with his wife and young family with various outside pursuits, golf being a particular favorite.
Khurram serves as Regional Manager of MEAP (Middle East, Asia Pacific), covering business and operational activities in those markets. Through his 23 years with Gyrodata, he has worked in a variety of management, engineering, and offshore field services positions. Khurram received a Master of Science Degree in Petroleum Geology from the University of Karachi. Apart from work, Khurram enjoys traveling and spending time with family, colleagues, and friends.
Arturo is Regional Manager of Latin America, a position he assumed in 2018. Previously, he held a variety of other managerial positions, including Manager of Latin America North, and Manager of Drilling Systems for Latin America. Prior to Gyrodata, Arturo had a broad experience around the world with other companies; most recently at Halliburton (2007 – 2016) as Engineering Manager in Iraq and the UAE, Country Manager of Brazil, Operations and Engineering Manager in Brazil, and Technical Advisor for Drilling Project Management in Mexico. Previously, he worked for Perfolat Drilling Company as a Directional Drilling manager in Mexico. Arturo began his career in 1990 as a Drilling Engineer in Bolivia. Arturo holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the Autonomous University Gabriel René Moreno of Santa Cruz Bolivia. Outside of the office, Arturo and his wife enjoy vacationing with their children.
